CorvOS is free Linux distribution focused on K-12 schools. The name derives from the latin word corvus, the scientific name for the Raven and Crow family of a birds.
CorvOS takes the best attributes of a traditional Linux desktop: Speed, Security, Flexibility and merges it with the Simplicity of ChromeOS without the privacy issues and Google vendor lock-in.
As of today, there are over 3000 and counting laptops and desktops all over the world running CorvOS. Check out The Flock page to find out where and how it's being used.
CorvOS is still under active development and will release the first stable, public version in late summer of 2018.
